Email Hi all,
As some of you probably noticed, we had a bit of an issue with emails over the past week. Two things caused this:
- We got spam-bombed which caused out outgoing mail server to lockup - When I changed the IP address for the outgoing mail server, it did not propagate down to the web servers so instead of sending email to the mail server, it was going to a non-existent server (and bouncing)
I am going to work tonight to get the queued emails out. This may take some time, as they were put into the backup queue which required manual intervention.
Sorry for the hassle. If you've been attempting to validate your email, please go request a new email - it works now.
