A few communities to take note of, and a contest (of sorts)
Just another friendly news post from your friendly admin!

In an attempt to move some site-related discussion away from the [info]news area, I would like to invite those who are reading this to join the following communities and take part in any discussions that interest you!

The one I would like to "promote" the most is the recent-created [info]lojo_design community. This is a community which I intend to solicit new design idea's for all areas of the site. I will be posting a pseudo-contest in this community in a little bit, so make sure you check it out!

Another community which even I forgot about is [info]releases. As we progress through spring and into summer I will be taking steps to prepare some new releases for LostJournal. Any releases that I would like public input on I will post here so users can have a look at what's to come.

Two communities that impact the overall operation of the site are [info]lojo_backend and [info]lojo_dev. While both communities are closed-communities, I invite you to watch them so you are aware of any changes which may impact the way you visit the site.

The last two communities I would like to let you guys know about is [info]lojo_support and [info]lojo_userdoc. Just as the name implies, [info]lojo_support deals with the customer-support related post on LostJournal, while [info]lojo_userdoc is a community in which documentation (FAQ's, particularity) are discussed. If you are interested in helping write FAQ's, or are interest in the customer support aspect, feel free to join!

Thank you all for your continued support of LostJournal.

I was looking at some comments I had on a journal at Livejourbal, and someone mentioned that the owners of that site are the ones who started LostJournal. Is this true? :)

Not really, actually. LiveJourbal was started by a fellow named Chris who is now doing some pretty awesome cinema work, and unfortunately did not have the time or resources to continue LiveJourbal. He approached me to take over the site, and while I do not have the resources available to fully develop both sites, I ensure that LiveJourbal is up and running for those who want to use it. :)

Aww...thank you so much for keeping Livejourbal up and running. [This is me again, only with another LoJo]. I got my Livejourbal journals back when I had a wee hamster that reminded me so much of that site. She was so cute, and I spent a fortune on her getting her a surgery and everything. I like my little sites there as I do everywhere I go. I may not use all of them much, but they comfort me, and once in awhile I play with them. :)

Happy Easter, btw, if you celebrate it. :)
