The purpose of this community is to serve as a (primarily) philosophical and (sometimes) poetic safe haven for Yuna, who has finished her apprenticeship and now is looking to finish her journey to becoming a real philosopher, like her adopted/spiritual fathers before her. She is primarily a Daoist (favouriting both the original Dao de Jing and being an avid reader of Zhuangzi) however she has dabbled in and respects/follows some Confucian ethics. She is not a professional philosopher; you have been warned. :D
Anyone is free to join the community, but only Yuna can post in it. As she's still young in her path, she has a lot of learning to do, so this is her safe haven for ponderings and contemplations!
Here are some Key Terms that Yuna will be using often. Also to note, for copies of most of the texts referenced, you can access them electronically at the Chinese Text Project in both the original Classical Chinese + English translation format. |
